By 1936 she had become an auxiliary Ketch with an Argus 1919 petrol motor 6 cylinder 5.5” – 6.25”, and was owned by Hubert Scott-Paine, the Shoreham-born designer of flying boats, speed boats and founder of the company Supermarine Ltd that won the Schneider Trophy for England in 1922.
The launch once belonging to
Sula
is thought to still survive – possibly in Scotland.
