Stormbird was commissioned in Sweden in 2003 by the current owner and competed in the 2003 ARC. 

In 2004 she was lucky to escape Hurricane Ivan when the pontoons went up the shore and she held on her Fortress anchor.

Based in Antigua at the beginning and end of each season, she spends most of the time in the Grenadines and has a mooring in Bequia.
