This launch was built for the 1st Lady Iliffe, in 1947/48, her previous launch having reputedly come to grief at Dunkirk. The 1st Lord Iliffe was then technically the owner before he died in 1959, when she was passed on to his sister-in-law, Christine Iliffe, the mother of the 3rd Lord Iliffe.
