Myth
was designed by J Laurent Giles, but there can be little doubt that her first owner, the great Captain John Illingworth, had a great influence on her design. He favoured a smallish high aspect ratio mainsail combined with a multitude of headsails of all shapes and sizes for every possible combination of weather and sea.
