This Class II yacht was one of the most successful of the 1963 British ocean racing fleet.
She was launched in the April of that year from Lallow's yard at Cowes about an hour or two after the new Outlaw had gone down the slipway a few hundred yards up river.
Her successes included the Fastnet, the New York Yacht Club cup and all that meant to regaining the Admiral's Cup by the British Team.
In the photo opposite she is reaching with a reefed mainsail, but the spinnaker and the incorrectly-named spinnaker staysail are doing tons of work.
