Built as Driac, she later became Merlin, and then went back to Driac before entering the Squadron List.

She won the RCC Challenge Cup in 1931 for a 5,000 mile trip from Portsmouth to Malta, along the shores of the Mediterranean and then back to Portsmouth.

A fine little cruiser, seaworthy and weatherly with easy sweeping lines by Charles Nicholson.
