Although this yacht looks at first glance to be similar to W H Smith's Pandora, they are in fact completely different vessels.  The most striking difference is the position of the boiler room as shown by the funnel.  W H Smith's yacht has the funnel between the mainmast and the mizzen.

This one was an ex-naval five-gun sloop which Sir Allen Young bought in 1875 and fitted out for the Arctic.  He sailed there twice in search of the Franklin expedition, but without success.
