That Baltic race was one of the most prestigious sailing events in Russia for a long time, but it was stopped during the soviet period and only successfully restored in 2001.

Claymore's record time remained until 12 June 2016 when a St Petersburg boat, a Farr 30 called Baby Roo, owned by Dmitri Bazhenov, won the race in a time of 12 hours 42 minutes, thus breaking a record which had stood for 164 years.
