Rear-Admiral Herbert Pott, M.V.O., Royal Navy, (31 May, 1886 – 4 August, 1945) served in the Royal Navy.
On 12 August, 1914, Pott qualified as a signal officer under the old system.
Pott was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1920.
Pott was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1927.
Pott was appointed in command of the light cruiser Cairo in August, 1928.
Pott was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 10 January, 1939 and was placed on the Retired List the following day.
