Rear-Admiral THE HONOURABLE George Fraser, D.S.O. (4 March, 1887 – 20 June, 1970) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Born in Fraserburgh Scotland, Fraser was the second son of Alexander Fraser, Eighteenth Baron Saltoun. He gained two and a half months time on passing out of Britannia in May, 1903.

From his first appointment in Magnificent from 15 May 1903 through 17 September, 1906, he served in Victorious, Albion, Sutlej and Glory.

Fraser was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1909.

Fraser was gazetted for a D.S.O. on March of 1920 for distinguished services in command of Winchester during the war.

Fraser was appointed in command of the destroyer Walker on 16 November, 1920.

Fraser was promoted to Commander on 30 June, 1922.

Fraser was promoted to Captain on 31 December, 1929.

In October 1930, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Calypso.
