Captain Hugh Dennis Marryat, R.N., (7 April, 1880 – 9 December, 1951) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Marryat was appointed Lieutenant & Commander of the destroyer Racehorse on 16 October, 1906.
Marryat was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1914.
Marryat was appointed in command of the monitor Marshal Soult on 22 September, 1920
