Vice-Admiral (retired) Stephen St. Leger Moore, C.B., C.V.O., R.N. (7 March, 1884 – 13 February, 1955) served in the Royal Navy.
Born in Penicuik.
Moore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in October, 1906.
Moore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in October, 1914.
Moore was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1917.
Moore was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1924.
Moore was appointed in command of the battleship Queen Elizabeth in January, 1933.
Moore was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 5 January, 1936.
