Captain (retired) Hugh Salvin Bowlby, R.N. (18 September, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Bowlby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1910.
Was involved in the Gallipoli campaign.
Bowlby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1918.
Bowlby was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1924.
Bowlby was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 18 September, 1934.
