From the Hay's Wharf Story:  As Arthur Magniac had no son his nephew, Oswald Cecil Magniac, was to succeed him at the Wharf. Oswald was to lose his only son (Tony), killed in action in the Second World War whilst serving with the Coldstream Guards.
